Student Association Standing Committee Chairs
The goal of the SA standing committees is to collaborate with members of the student body, SA senate, and Rice administration to solve any campus-wide issues, improve upon existing programs, as well as create new ones to enhance the quality of life at Rice. The committee chair's responsibility is to develop, organize, and manage projects, schedule bi-weekly meetings, and provide periodic updates on the progress of the committee.

Student Association Directors, Parliamentarian, and Historian
The goal of the SA Executive Committee is to provide auxiliary assistance to the Student Association senate. Members of the committees have a focused task, in which they are the foremost experts in the SA for. The Directors, Parliamentarian, and Historian work with the Senate to solve pertinent issues related to their role.

Undergraduate Representatives to University Standing Committees
Undergraduate representatives to university boards and committees serve a vital function as links between students and faculty/administration. They address campus issues, operating within a context of increased specificity. The Student Association appoints undergraduate representatives to the following committees:
Admissions, Athletics, Examinations and Standing, Library, Parking, President's Lecture Series, Teaching, and Undergraduate Curriculum.
