Hello Rice community, my name is Alan Tapper and I am the President of Hanszen College (the very best residential college at Rice). I am a senior majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science, and I love just about everything numbers and technology-related. Outside of academics, I am a member of the Marching Owl Band and play numerous IM/college sports. As President, I am prioritizing student engagement (especially among off-campus students) and reducing food insecurity.
