(due @ 11:59pm on Tues. 9/9/08) Deliver or e-mail your completed application to your college senator. As a new student, an excellent way to get involved with campus wide academic and student life affairs is to serve the Student Association as a New Student Representative. The SA meets on Mondays at 10pm in Farnsworth Pavilion in the RMC. Each college has three NSRs in addition to their Senator and President that serve as representatives to the SA. NSRs attend SA meetings, work closely with their senators, and join one of the four SA committees (Academics, Environmental, Sports & Health, Student Life). In the past, NSRs have also undertaken independent projects such as seeking additional lighting on campus, remedying the unused muddy spaces in the south college quad, and adding artwork to various buildings. You will be likely notified by Thursday, September 11th about whether you are an NSR. If so, then there will be a dinner for all NSRs on Friday, September 12th.
