Friends, Owls, Rice Students, lend me your ears! With the spring general elections around the corner, I wanted to let everyone know a little about myself as I run for RSVP Secretary. Over the past year I have fallen in love with the organization, actively serving as a college representative, working as a member of the Environmental Committee, and organizing the ice cream study break for Outreach Day among other instances of service including participation in several Outreach Days and Project Pumpkin. Attending virtually every meeting, I seek to further increase my involvement and level of contribution through the role of secretary in a way through which Rice and RSVP will benefit from my talents for organization and communication. My experience and commitment make me a good choice for the position, and I would greatly appreciate your vote in this week's elections. Please help me dust off my typewriter in service to the community and those who serve it by voting this week and reminding your friends. Thank you all very much!
