Rice University's First Ever Official T-Shirt Design Competition

Tired of the t-shirts at the bookstore?  Wish the had better designs?  WELL! For the first time ever, the Student Association is hosting a university-wide t-shirt design competition!  The competition starts Monday, October 5th, 2009 and ends three weeks later on Monday October 26th.  The goal of the competition is to create the design for the official 2009-2010 Rice University Student T-Shirt!  The winning design will be put onto a shirt and will be sold to the student population here at Rice. The competition is open to ALL CURRENT RICE STUDENTS and anyone can and should send a design in.  The shirt is NOT related to Athletics nor a specific Residential College.  It truly will be a t-shirt designed by the students for the students. 800 shirts will be made and subsidized by the SA.  The designs will be chosen by a majority vote during a Student Association Senate Meeting.  The winning designer will potentially be featured in the Rice Thresher and will receive the shirt free of cost.

The winning shirt will also potentially be sold through the Rice Bookstore!
