I’m Nate, and I am proud to represent Baker College as our Senator. At Rice, I’ve found an incredible community of my peers both inside and outside Baker, and I am excited to use my position to support all of Rice’s students. As a senator, some of my priorities are seeking out and advocating for diverse perspectives and pushing for proper accommodations and policies in response to Rice’s growing and changing student body. Outside of Senate, you can find me working at the rec, practicing on the rugby pitch, or playing board games with my suitemates. Rice’s unique sense of community and its Culture of Care have given me the opportunity to learn and explore, and I hope to help make Rice a welcoming space for all its students.
