The Student Senate will be meeting tomorrow night at 10 pm in Farnsworth Pavilion in the RMC. We will be giving an update on our work from the summer and accepting nominations for U-Court at-large representatives.

There will also be an information session for all new students interested in the SA NSR program at 9 pm. Hope to see you there!

The Student Association will be hosting the annual Sammy's Picnic this Friday, August 28 at 6 pm on the intermural fields next to Tudor Fieldhouse. Serveries will be closed and Residential Dining will be catering the event. Make sure to stay after to cheer on the Women's Volleyball Team against Oklahoma at 7:30!

As the school year gets underway, don't forget to check out the Textbook Marketplace to buy and sell used books at better prices.

The SA is pleased to announce the new Student Events Calendar, a collaboration with the Graduate Student Association, the Rice Program Council, and the Office of Student Activities. The Student Events Calendar replaces the RPC Calendar that was previously hosted on the SA's site and offers additional features including integration with the new Clubs Central.

The New Student Representative program is an excellent way for freshmen and first year transfers to become active members of the Student Association.
