Hey y'all! My name is Shay Olaifa and I am a sophomore majoring in Political Science with minors in Sociology and Politics, Law, & Social Thought, and I am thrilled to serve as the Martel senator for the 2023-2024 academic year! As a senator, my main responsibility is to represent and advocate for Martellians by gathering their thoughts, critiques, and ideas to create resolutions that will bring about impactful change. I am extremely passionate about ensuring that every Martellian’s voice is not only heard but also adequately represented in student government and I'm so excited to serve as a fervent advocate for my college.
