Hi everyone! My name is Annie Ribordy, and I am running for Rice Program Council President. Over the past three years, I’ve been in RPC as a committee member, co-chair, and currently serve as Treasurer, so I have become familiar with the different roles within this organization and would love for the opportunity to use my experience to lead RPC as President.

As a blanket tax organization, I believe it is important for RPC to be transparent about where funds are coming from and plan events that students want to go to. To truly represent the diverse interests of our student body, RPC must actively seek input and opinions. I want to prioritize collecting useful student input to shape the direction of RPC.

Internally, my vision for RPC is rooted in fostering a tight-knit culture among members. I want to focus on enhancing our recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring that RPC continues to attract and retain passionate individuals. As president, I want to ensure that every person in RPC feels empowered to bring fresh, exciting ideas to the table. I will do everything in my power behind the scenes to make that happen. We shouldn't simply do things because they've been done in the past; instead, let's challenge ourselves to think outside the box and elevate the experiences we provide to the student body.
