As editor-in-chief, I’ll continue to improve the Thresher’s in-depth, timely coverage of campus and its surroundings. I’ll maintain the paper’s status as a reliable and trustworthy news source, strengthening ties with the Rice community. Next year, I aim to expand our digital presence with an increased focus on social and video content. My ultimate goal with the Thresher is to provide a foundation for students interested in journalism — at a school that lacks such a curriculum — to gain newsroom experience and build their skillset in reporting and editing.
