Candidate Statement
Muyiwa Ogunsola (President)
The status quo of the Student Association is untapped potential. We have committed students with high morals, strong ideas, and intense drive, but we don’t have the organization to match them. The bureaucracy of the SA leads to delays extended over weeks and months that directly affect the very students we are meant to serve. The SA doesn’t represent a country of 300 million; it doesn’t even represent a school of 30,000 undergrads. With under 5,000 students, the inefficiency of our student government is less than a hurdle; it’s a road bump. I’m running for SA president to drive us over this bump, to finally match the drive of our student body in our Student Association.
