Hello everyone! My name is Suri Yang and I am a sophomore from WIll Rice College, studying Sports Management and Finance. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Rice Student Association Treasurer!! I have previously served as Deputy Parliamentarian and Deputy Justice of Will Rice. In my role as Treasurer, my focus is on making sure that the Rice Student Association and our Blanket Tax Organizations are funded and our student organizations are provided opportunities to access funding avenues. Additionally, I am the Chair of the Blanket Tax Committee where we review all Initiative Fund applications and more. My biggest goal this year is to ensure that Rice students are well versed in Rice's funding opportunities for club growth as well as finding ways to provide Rice students with more financial accessibility to opportunities.
