The Free Speech Commission at Rice aims to elevate and protect student speech. As an academic institution, conversations, dialogues, and debates are integral to fostering critical thought. Some projects include showcasing respectful academic debate, bringing bipartisan government speakers to campus, and aiding Rice programming in creating dialogue programs that reflect student interests.
