Hey y’all! My name is Megan Phung, and I am running for Rice Program Council President. Since joining as a freshman, RPC has been one of the most meaningful parts of my Rice experience, and I hope to leave the same impact on current and incoming members.

As President, I want to focus on strengthening our sense of community within RPC, Rice, and the greater Houston area. Beyond throwing amazing events, I want to create more bonding opportunities that help each member feel supported and connected with each other. By prioritizing member retention, RPC can continue to reach the wider student body and bring in unique perspectives that build stronger collaboration.

I also want to expand RPC’s relationships with student organizations, campus partners, and vendors outside of Rice who help bring our events to life. By building a clear partnership pipeline, we allow smoother execution and create bigger opportunities for the student body. As President, I want RPC to feel like a community you can turn to, not just a committee!
