Hello everyone!! My name is Suri Yang and I am from Will Rice!! This past semester I got to serve as Deputy Parliamentarian and work on the Committee of Club Approvals. Through this, I got to see the inner and external workings of the Student Association.

As Student Association Treasurer, I want to ensure that I support and build club funding, understand and support the BTOs, be responsible when allocating student fees, and increase transparency and accountability.

I want each and every organization to know that my commitment to building the club funding process more clearly and accessibly for organizations of all sizes, is absolute. Equitable and fair access to funds is central to my priorities.

Similarly, working and collaborating with Blanket Tax Organizations is also crucial to my goals as well. Meeting with the Representatives and Chairs to see how I can help them with their goals and my own is an important part of keeping my process transparent and consistent.

Beyond these priorities, overall, I want the overall budget and its spending to be sustainable, while also being flexible enough for student organizations to grow and innovate.

I want each and every student to know that if you vote YANG for the GANG, I will ensure that your voice is heard and an answer is given!
